Everybody else is doin' it (Review of The Rich Jerk)

It's difficult to find these days a typical internet marketer who hasn't presented his/her opinion of, you guessed it, The Rich Jerk.

So, my turn.

I've known of the guy since he first became popularized, but, for whatever reason, never bought his ebook until today. Yeah. I'm weird. But why? Probably because I figured I already knew what he was all about and how he gained his success, and, for the most part, I was right. But the ebook is still worth reading, and the guy obviously knows what he's doing.

I had actually already come up with my slightly contentious "No B.S." theme before I first heard of The Rich Jerk - which may have been how I found his site in the first place. Another reason why I didn't go ahead and buy his ebook then - and I may be the only who can admit to this - is that I was probably jealous. I already had my "trademark" theme and my ability to write badass ads that get badass conversions, but it was obvious that he was doing undeniably better than I was, and my cockiness made me feel that there was really nothing new that I could learn from him.

As it turned out, I learned some of the most valuable information that anyone who is serious about making money online can learn.

The guy really is an honest, no-B.S. guy, and, of course, those attributes have to fall under my A list.

But, like many, if you haven't already invested in his book (or even if you have), you probably (still) have two main questions:

- Is The Rich Jerk really rich? Yes, he is.

- Is The Rich Jerk really a jerk? Not as much as he is a pure genius for making you think he's one.

And it doesn't take a genius to figure out that his tactics are, more than anything else, tactics - but that's not to say that they're not brilliant tactics.

Bottom line, if you can see past anything about him that may piss you off, then do so. His strategies obviously work, so it is worth being able to look past the hype and put those strategies to use for yourself.
